Thank you for writing out your thought process and sharing your sources. I have had my mail in ballot all filled out except for the presidential candidate vote for weeks as I could not make up my mind of who to vote for, more specifically I was debating between different third parties, but this has pushed me to more clarity and to vote for Jill Stein. Let’s get her over the 5% line so we can start building a future outside of this genocidal duopoly.

Respectfully, Jill Stein has millions invested in Exxon and Chevron. She’s not “green,” and he said himself we’re not going to have elections anymore if he gets back in office. Having a third party helps no one if we are a dictatorship. Bibi and Putin both have endorsed Trump to win, and I find that a compelling reason to make sure he doesn’t.

Perfectly said dear Grace. If I was a US citizen that would be my reasoning. You -and frankly all of us in the rest of the world- need a change in the US political system.

If I was American, I'd vote for Jill Stein.

Alhamdulillah.

Asma forwarded this to me. You have done a great job by forwarding the interviews. Imam Toms recent interview on Thinking Muslims is also very good as it clearly answers all of the Questions raised. And of course your title "My Case for ethical Vote" is powerful.

Jill Stein is definitely the one to vote for. The only way to break the hegemony and vote for change is to change your vote. The British failed to do so, but I hope those in the US will.

Grace, this is a wonderful, insightful, not to mention important piece on voice, speech, rights, and the overlooked. I love the way this weaves through those who had very little yet deserve much. Hope you're well this week? Cheers, -Thalia

Thank you for reminding us all about the power of principal. I agree that a vote for Harris is a vote for genocide and we do need to make our voices heard and go on record that we unequivocally reject genocide. That is what the Uncommitted and Uninstructed Campaign was all about. It was a signal to our elected leaders that they cannot take our votes for granted. The Biden/Harris Administration has chosen not to make any change in policy, not to end the genocide, and so it is on them for not earning our vote. Trump is an alternative but has not shown favor to Muslims or Palestinians other than to call for an end to the war in Gaza, but with full backing of Israel now and into the future. Supporting Jill Stein is a vote toward a change in our system and raising the bar on what we expect from our elected leaders.

"the silver lining of a Trump win is that everyone and their brother will come out of the woodwork to fight injustice" I think that this the key. If Trump does win, there will be an active resistance to his policies. Whereas if Harris wins, it will likely fade away

Perfectly put, Grace.

Jill Stein is a Zionist. Anyone like Stein who says Israel has a right to exist is a Zionist. In fact no nation ever has had a legal right to exist, they come and go like spring flowers.

Too bad you are caught up in a Sophie's Choice of your own making. The three choices have been imposed on you, so you do not have an obligation to vote for any of these genocidal psychopaths. If you wait for millions to join you, your spirit and your efforts will collapse. Proceed on a true path of love and compassion where there is no force complexity. DO NOT VOTE.
